We knitted our WI's entry for the display competition "All Things English"at the Group Rally in 2014
Members knitted Lap Blankets in 2015 and donated them to the Nursing home where one of our ex-members now lives
To celebrate HM The Queen's 90th birthday in April 2016 we 'yarn bombed' the village hall where we meet
In 2016 together with other WIs in Gloucestershire we answered a request from the RBL to knit and crochet poppies for Remembrance Sunday. These were used to 'yarn-bomb' the trees around Cheltenham's War Memorial and the interior of Gloucester cathedral.
More Lap Blankets in 2017 (if in doubt knit squares is to be our motto!) this time donated to a local Nursing Home, Wentworth Court
In October 2019 GFWI celebrated their centenary with 'My WI, Your WI' displays in Gloucester Cathedral - we knitted ours!
